Global Mani Retreat

Join us May 17 - November 1, 2026!

In honor of FPMT’s 50th anniversary, FPMT is hosting a Global Mani Retreat, helping to fulfill Lama Zopa Rinpoche’s Vast Vision of hosting 100 Million Mani Retreats around the world.

The global program includes:

  • Online teachings (schedule & Zoom link)
  • Group practice sessions (schedule & Zoom link)
  • Individual at-home practice (materials available here and you can report your mantra count here)
  • In-person retreat in Mongolia August 20 – September 17 (more details here)
  • All to generate merit, create the causes for world peace, and support our teachers such as His Holiness the Dalai Lama and Lama Zopa Rinpoche.

We will practice together from the beginning of Saka Dawa month (May 17) through Lhabab Duchen (November 1), both considered especially virtuous times in the Tibetan Buddhist tradition, when the merit of positive actions is said to increase 100 millionfold.
